A Rockin’ Good Time in Golden:

Cinderella Hits the Stage This May!

If you’re looking for a fun, memorable family outing this spring, this one is such a gem 💫

Right in the heart of Golden, Miners Alley Playhouse is putting on a fresh, high-energy take on Cinderella—and it’s not your typical fairytale 👀

✨ A Fresh Twist on a Classic Story

This version of Cinderella, adapted by Kate Poling, brings a playful, modern spin to the story we all know and love.

By day, Ella is working hard at her stepmother’s gas station, but she’s dreaming of making it to the biggest event of the year—the shindig happening at the diner next door.

With help from her friends (and a dash of magic ✨), she just might get her wish.

🎭 Expect:

  • A fun, upbeat storyline kids will love
  • Creative sets and costumes
  • A “rockin’ good time” vibe that keeps things engaging
  • Plenty of humor + heart for the whole family

📍 Make It a Golden Family Day

One of my favorite things about this is the location.

Golden is perfect for a little outing—grab lunch, wander around downtown, maybe stop for a treat… and then head into the theater for a cozy, magical experience.

It’s simple, local, and feels just a little bit special 💛

If you’ve been wanting to do more fun, local things with your kids, this is such an easy yes.

It’s unique, it’s close to home, and it’s the kind of experience your kids will actually remember.

And honestly… a Cinderella story set at a gas station and diner? I’m already in 😄
